The teachers all show such great love for these children.…

We have been very impressed with the care our daughter has received at School for Amazing Kids, Calera.  She was a bit apprehensive the first few days and then became very excited to go to “school” every morning.  The teachers all show such great love for these children.  It is much more than just a job – it is a calling and takes very special people to work in a daycare.  Our daughter has been attending for 10 months now and we couldn’t be happier.  She is learning so much and that carries over at home.   We are so thankful for the Christian values that are instilled in the children that attend School for Amazing Kids, Calera.

When he sees the building he starts singing “school, school, school, yeah!”…

My little tike has been attending School for Amazing Kids, Calera for nine months. To say that he loves it is an understatement. Each morning he wakes up saying “go school” and is disappointment when it is not a school day. When he sees the building he starts singing “school, school, school, yeah!” He loves going to “school” and we love that!

School for Amazing Kids, Calera supports his desire for discovery and need for independence…

My 2 ½ year old toddler is ready to take on the world! And School for Amazing Kids, Calera supports his desire for discovery and need for independence, while also providing a sense of safety and security. In his present class, the teachers actively partner with the parents to help your child learn important independent life skills, such as potty training and hand washing. I really like the balance they have with teaching: Child-Initiated: the children play and explore throughout their day, and they develop an understanding of their world. And Teacher-Guided: Teachers use a developmentally appropriate instructional framework to help stretch children’s minds by demonstrating, asking questions, encouraging and guiding. My child has been going to the School for Amazing Kids, Calera for over 1 1/2 years. I love it that every day he comes home with a new art project he did, or singing new song, sharing something new he’s learned. I know at School for Amazing Kids, Calera my child is learning and thriving, happy and safe.

What a blessing this has been to our whole family…

I had such a hard time even thinking about my grandson going to day care. We had all struggled to get him to eat and thrive after being born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. So, I would go and just look at the monitors in the lobby to see how he was doing every day. The staff never made me feel “crazy” or overprotective. They would give me updates and let me stay as long as I needed, giving me tissue to dry my tears. After a few days, I saw a change in my grandson and I changed also. We were both enjoying his time at day care. He has been taken care of so kindly and lovingly by everyone. He has made new friends and day care has helped his speech tremendously. What a blessing this has been to our whole family.

Very satisfied with our experience and the care of our children…

One of the most important things we have discovered regarding sending our children to daycare, is management of the center. I find the caregivers to be of utmost importance, however the directors of the facility ensure the quality and management of the staff and thus their diligence is paramount. We feel that the facility directors at School for Amazing Kids, Calera are very cognizant of the importance of this, as the majority of the teachers my children have been exposed to have been wonderful; yet we did have a couple of less ideal experiences. In these cases, I took my concerns to the directors, and they were quick to react and address the issues. I feel this is crucial to the safety and well-being of the children, and feel that my concerns and opinions are always considered. This relationship of trust with the management at School for Amazing Kids, Calera has kept us loyal to the center and very satisfied with our experience and the care of our children.

I love that Christian values are at the core of what they do and teach…

School for Amazing Kids, Calera has been like a second home to my son. Being an only child, this is his main contact with other kids his age, and we have seen him continue to blossom and grow socially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually in the last 2 years there. I love that Christian values are at the core of what they do and teach. We are very grateful for the love and care he receives from his teachers. I know he is safe and in good hands at the School for Amazing Kids, Calera Daycare.

Our girls thrive under that kind of environment and unconditional love…

We have two daughters that have attended School for Amazing Kids, Calera since my return to work from maternity leave at 12 weeks old.  It has been very interesting for us to watch the differences in development from one child to the next and how the center interacts and handles each child.  They have both had the fortune to share certain teachers as they age, however the youngest has developed quite a special attachment to one of her teachers particularly.  This young lady has shown the utmost attention to the needs and development of our child, and they have formed a precious bond.  All the children in this classroom seem to benefit from the gentleness and love that is given by all of these teachers as they are all very attached to each, which is very emblematic of the care they receive.  I know with certainty that my daughter would not be so comfortable and excited to see her teacher(s), should she not be treated with the same type of care she receives from family.

I do not have any doubts that these ladies treat my children with the same concern and love that they would treat their own children and it has been such a blessing to watch our girls thrive under that kind of environment and unconditional love when it cannot be given by us.  The trust and safety of the facility and staff has made it definitively easier to return to work, especially when leaving an infant and we are very grateful!

It is amazing how smart and advanced my daughter is…

My child does not cry going to daycare. At our previous daycare it was a struggle to leave her because she would always cry and want to stay with me. Now that we have transferred to School for Amazing Kids, Calera she loves going. I get my hug and kiss before we make it to her classroom and she is off to play with her friends. It is so comforting and heartwarming knowing she is so happy there. I hate I can’t be with her throughout the day but I know she is in excellent hands at the School for Amazing Kids and she is receiving a great education. I know it’s just a daycare and she is only three but she is excelling and doing more things in her classroom then I figured she would do in the next three years. It is amazing how smart and advanced my daughter is just from what she has learned at the School for Amazing Kids, Calera.
